5 out of 5 eggsWorks Like A Charm!

Pros: Simple install. Common everyday power supply!

Nice blue LED's light up the case!
Great Power for the money!

Cons: Fan is a little loud but for the money you really cant complain! Runs my home built server very well!

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this PSU to anyone needing a cheap solution and good amount of power! Runs 4 Fans, 6 HDDs and obviously a Motherboard and quad core CPU with ease!

5 out of 5 eggsKeeps on working

Pros: Works well. Has worked for 4.5 years in two separate home built rigs. Now powers a 4670K Haswell processor on a Gigabyte motherboard. Has blue lights if you like that sort of thing.

Ps it's also quiet (I discovered that recently :). With the new mobo I don't need a separate video card with its own cooling fans. Wow. Does that ever make a noise difference.

Cons: It's worked for four and a half years. How can I possibly complain?

1 out of 5 eggsVery Dissapointed - Stay away from this Manufacturer

Pros: Looked good with nice specs on paper. Rated output far above what I needed. I thought it would be a tank

Cons: After 11 months the computer began to shut off randomly. At first I did not attribute this to a defective power supply. Over the next 6-8 weeks the occurrences happened more frequently. When I replaced the PS the computer was shutting off every 20+ minutes.

Unfortunately, by the time I replaced the PS it was outside of the factory warranty. What is worse, the company's website appears to no longer be functioning. No way to tell if they are even in business any longer. No way to get support from the manufacturer that I can find on the Internet.

The computer has been running without shutting down for several weeks now that a new PS is installed

Other Thoughts: 11 months of service from an upper end component is not satisfactory.

Manufacturer Response:

Our Web site (www.apevia.com) is still up and running. It is possible that it might have been down temporarily when you went to check it, though. If you ever need any help with any of our products, you can contact customer service at service@apevia.com or call at (909) 718-0789. We try to respond to all calls and e-mails as soon as possible.

5 out of 5 eggs4 Years In and Going Strong

Pros: - Apparently lasts forever
- Worked though several rebuilds
- Quiet
- Lovely subtle blue

Cons: - Not modular

Other Thoughts: For a basic power supply, this thing has been a tank. It's outlasted 2 motherboards and is still in my computer for the newest update. It's been run for hundreds upon hundred of hours over the last few years and has never had so much as a hiccup.

The best thing I can say about this power supply is that I haven't even thought about it in years. I've never needed to.

It casts a cool blue light into my case, it's been quiet, and it's never given me any problems. Power supplies don't really do much else and this one is definitely worth the buy.

1 out of 5 eggsDied after 5 uses/15 hours

Pros: If it worked that would be the only pro.

Cons: Died after 5 uses/15 hours

Other Thoughts: I put my PC together in early December, this Apevia PSU showed some kinky-ness but it was working, so I did not think much about it. I was out for vacation most of December and when I came back, bam, the fan died. Thank you for selling me a useless product and that it is totally awesome that I am out of the 30 day return/exchange window.

On a side note, the blue light is a terrible feature and I should not have fall for it. but that's a poor choice on my part, not their fault.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect!

Pros: Inexpensive
Powerful
Cool looking

Cons: Not Modular

Other Thoughts: This PSU has worked great for me. It looks great with the blue light and clear sides, but you can also see how dust builds up inside of it. I hardly think this is a con, since all PSUs build up dust.

I've been running this in a gaming pc for 2.5 years with no problems.

1 out of 5 eggsWas all Flash

Pros: Was quiet and had cool glow choices and colors.

Cons: Only lasted 5 months and now it shuts down my computer when I load it. My setup only requires barely 600W.

Other Thoughts: I reviewed a month or so after I bought the item. In the future I will wait it out for a bit to see if it will actually last.

Manufacturer Response:

You can do an RMA through us for the power supply to get an exchange on the PSU if you are still under our warranty period. You can contact Apevia's customer service at service@apevia.com or call at (909) 718-0789. We try to reply to all calls and e-mails as soon as we can.
